After a long time, we had a very successful date night at OXBO! This is located within the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton. McKinsey and the HNS (Croatian Football Association) can also be found here. I absolutely don't understand some of the critical voices... and I'm trying to put them into perspective here! The bar and cocktails are great! I particularly liked the Mojito. A good mojito in Croatia is an art... Most people don't manage to use Havana Club and white cane sugar ;-) but this is where the mixture is! Very good The starter salad was quite nice and the Wagyu A5 tasting course in the form of Flat Break was interesting. It melts in your mouth, is really special and delicious when paired with crusty bread, but for us it's "too rich" and simply more fat than meat. The Black Angus flank steak was my favorite. Wonderful, strong roasted aromas flatter the medium-roasted steak. The truffle butter was freshly made and delicious! The service was great, nice and accommodating! Even with the wrong water (Jana instead of Jamnica), he insisted on bringing the second round on the house. We were able to chat a bit and it was very, very nice.
