Some beach bars sell you a sunbed. Moro Beach Stupe sells you a mood. We arrived by boat, expecting crystal-clear water, strong cocktails, good music, and a lazy afternoon. We got all of that. Then they recognized us. Nika from De Canavellis had sent us the day before, and before we could even wonder if we’d come to the right place, we were welcomed like friends who’d simply taken the scenic route. The setting is ridiculous—in the best possible way. Turquoise water, chilled beats, cocktails with enough personality to deserve their own Instagram account, and a menu that refuses to be an afterthought. We swam, we laughed, we lingered far longer than planned. Isn’t that the universal sign of finding somewhere special? But here’s the thing: spectacular locations are easy. Hospitality isn’t. That’s where Ivana comes in. A law student spending her summer at Moro Beach, she has already mastered something they don’t teach in law school: making complete strangers feel like lifelong regulars. Her warmth, emotional intelligence, effortless humor, and genuine hospitality transformed a beautiful afternoon into one we’ll be talking about long after the tan fades. If she argues cases one day with the same grace she serves guests today, opposing counsel should start worrying now. Places with postcard views are everywhere along the Adriatic. Places where the people become part of the memory? Those are wonderfully rare. We’ll absolutely be back—for another swim, another dangerously good cocktail, and another chat with Ivana. Five stars don’t really cover it. Some places have a view. Moro Beach Stupe has a soul. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
