Wonderful spot for brunch! We were craving a simple meal and this was exactly what we needed. We ordered fresh orange juice. For meals we got the omelette, sandwich and full English breakfast. For lunch we ordered calamari. The bread was incredibly soft and fresh. Our server was excellent and provided us with great conversation and taught us about life in Croatia and the local lifestyle. We left with full stomachs and happy with the conversation. Wonderfully located and so delicious! Good food. Portion size is sufficient but they're not large. ( Spoken as a S/M sized guy ) It's not an upscale high end type restaurant, medium prices, overall a good experience Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €15–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Diocletian Risotto

After a very hot day of exploring Split, we came across Morei Cafe and Restaurant. We stopped and ordered some cheese with fruit, grilled vegetable, olive, nuts which came with oven hot bread. We also ordered some Aperol Spritz and then 2 beers each. It was so lovely to just sit, relax and watch the late afternoon go from day to dusk. Our waitress was lovely and gave great service too. It remained fully booked and was truly a surprise delight. This is wishing the Palace walls so overall just lovely! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
