Non c'è niente di meglio che provare gli ottimi schnitzel e pesce. A giudicare dai commenti degli ospiti il personale è piuttosto carinissimo in locale. The Hotel Montana was my stage destination on the Trans Swiss Trail (2) crossing Via Jacobi (4). After the friendly reception by the boss, I looked forward to the shower and putting my feet up for a bit. Shower/toilet were newly renovated. The mattress in the rustic room was perfect. In addition everything tip-top clean. I had been looking forward to the wheat beer in the inn all day. The salad was crisp and fresh and the Gordon bleu with fries and vegetables was just perfect. Exactly what you want after a long hike. The boss is very accommodating and the locals at the voting table were funny and in a good mood. Slept wonderfully. Extensive z'mörgelet. Everything your heart desires. The highlights: Perfect, strong coffee for breakfast, fantastic local cheese (mountain cheese dairy Aschwanden Seelisberg). My conclusion: value for money very good, absolutely recommendable. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
