Lovely neighborhood bakery, with some of the most delicious and freshly baked pastries of the entire region. This would be a six star review if it wasn’t for the summer hiccups. The outside summer terrace is amazing, but sadly also the victim of its own success, with wait times after ordering that can go until 30 minutes and more during Summer, due to understaffing, even for a coffee or croissant. I truly wish nothing but the best to the bakery, which is an institution and one of the best things about Chêne-Bourg and its surroundings. But even institutions need to adapt and improve sometimes. We hope they will. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CHF 1–10 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: There is no assigned place for bicycles, which makes for uncomfortable parking at times, in conflict with cars. Kid-friendliness: The terrace has a little playhouse for children, with some plastic trucks and cars, and an old toy stroller. There’s a pétanque field too, with some 10 heavy balls. That can be fun but is obviously also dangerous and should be surveilled at all times.
