As a baklava enthusiast, I appreciate the quality ingredients used in your pastries. The nuts were fresh and the phyllo dough was properly layered. However, I noticed an unexpected bitterness in some pieces that affected my enjoyment. Traditional baklava should have a harmonious balance of sweetness and nuttiness without bitter notes. Additionally, I found the overall flavor profile to be somewhat different from what I typically enjoy in baklava. Perhaps adjusting the syrup with more orange blossom or rose water might help. The care in preparation is evident, which is why I've given 3 stars. With some recipe refinements, particularly addressing the bitter elements, this could become a go-to spot for baklava lovers.

It's strange that they're not traditional, because our products are signed by Haci Hasan Ogullari, a world-famous confectionery factory founded in 1970 in Bursa (TUR). In fact, they're all great to us and we're sorry you had such an experience. However, we hope that the slight difference in taste from what was expected won't be an obstacle for future visits. If you’re in Zagreb, Moja Baklava is a place you absolutely can’t miss. I’ve only just discovered it, but I’m already planning my next visit – this place deserves all the praise it gets. Highly recommended for baklava lovers and anyone who appreciates good food made with love. It’s a little piece of the Mediterranean soul in the heart of the city!
