Interesting little place, very friendly service. My medaillons de cerf (venison bits) were outstanding, paired with a nice Primitivo. Oddly, it has an open-air deck but the location is right along a very busy 4-lane thoroughfare, so dust and exhaust would seriously impair outdoor dining! Those approaching on foot from lakeside should cross this road well before, else need to use a pedestrian overpass. Worth the walk from the hotel district.

This meal was excellent! It's in an odd part of town a few blocks off the main Street in an old armory building. Service was quick and friendly (even though we speak zero french). My husband ordered the Chasse burger (hunt burger), it was dear meat with cherry tomatoes and a prune sauce on the side. The prune sauce was a pleasant surprise, not too sweet and full of flavor! I ordered the goat cheese burger and it came with a beautiful slab of melty goat cheese with a honey and thyme sauce on the side. Both burgers were cooked to a perfect medium and came with a salad with tasty dressing and sunflower seeds and fries. Overall a touch pricy but the quality, taste and presentation made it worth while.

As a business traveler to Neuchatel, this place was a hit. I loved the look of the place and the Filet was awesome. I did not go wrong brining my coworkers here, the waiter could have been the owner and really knew his stuff. Major plus was that he spoke great english. I hope to cone back on my next trip!
