I had a quick and early lunch in this eatery on the Grand Rue in Morges the last Friday of June 2024. It's an ambitious "hole in the wall" type place with a couple of tables outside during the warm season. The menu is restricted and includes meat, fish (mostly exotic variants like tuna and swordfish), poultry and vegetarian options. On Saturdays they offer perch from Lake Geneva for lunch which is quite unusual and certainly attracts lots of guests.The wine list is surprisingly well garnished, in particular with products from most regions of Switzerland. Knowing several of the more exclusive wines on offer, I find prices rather high, like 3 times the purchase price which is common for lower quality wine in restaurants with little staff. To encourage guests to chose the best wines, many restaurants today offer these at 1.5-2 times the purchase price. Wines by the glass are mostly regional with some French options. Even these are quite expensive. Nevertheless, rather good value for money and you are well taken care of.
