Subito dopo aver visitato la Chiesa dello Spirito Santo, vieni qui per un pasto. Se vai in questo ristorante, ordina i curatissimi polpo alla griglia, pesce spada e panini. The lovely lady who served us was very kind. The views while sitting outside are lovely lovely lovely - beach and Stromboli and the wild Italian drivers! I told the lady we did not want bread to maybe make the cover charge less but it was still quite expensive per person. The red wine was quite disgusting so I would not go for that. The food was quite nice, especially the swordfish meatballs (polpette). The zucchini flowers had a very thick batter but the inside was so good — mozzarella and anchovy yum. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. The best pesce spada sandwich I’ve had in a while. If you’re a swordfish fan, you cannot skip this place. Fritto misto is a must try too! The novelty about the food here was actually how bad it was, clearly our worst lunch in a week of Calabria. We started with a okay appetizer of cured prosciutto and cheese but our main dishes were mediocre and just downright bad, absolutely flavourless pasta with some commercial tomato sauce and the grilled calamari still cold from the freezer and raw when they were served to us. After we returned them to be grilled some more, no apologies were offered, instead we were completely ignored thereafter. The chef seemed to be more busy smoking than cooking - during our visit at lunch time with all tables occupied. Not an experience we would want to repeat, nor recommend.
