Si arriva da Otranto in 15 minuti, iniziando la litoranea d'Otranto che ci ha incantati all'istante. La masseria è immersa nella pianura a pochi km dalla costa e si possono fare passeggiate intorno con i sentieri che partono da lì. La camera aveva un giardino esterno e si stava molto bene. La colazione era ottima con prodotti fatti in casa soprattutto i pasticciotti. Abbiamo anche cenato alla carta e abbiamo apprezzato la cucina ricercata anche se un po' costosa. Lo spazio esterno è meraviglioso per stare in tranquillità e gli ambienti interni sono pregiati e richiamano la storia contadina della masseria. Appena rientrati da una settimana di soggiorno in questo posto splendido. Personale preparato, amichevole e gentile, cura delle camere e dell'ambiente fin nel minimo dettaglio. Particolare menzione al ristorante dove abbiamo trovato una cucina di alto livello, con prodotti del territorio. Saremmo potuti andare fuori ogni sera, ma siamo stati talmente conquistati dai piatti dello chef, dalla tranquillità del posto, che dover uscire da questo paradiso sembrava quasi di fare un torto a noi stessi. The air conditioning in the room did not work while we stayed there in the hottest part of the summer. At least, the air conditioning worked but blew warm wind instead of cold wind. After reporting we were told that this was normal and that the air conditioning worked normally. On top of this, the air conditioning does not work for a large part of the morning / early afternoon under the guise that the cleaners are cleaning the rooms. This is also not entirely correct. The cleaners always came late in the afternoon. This made the room structurally a sauna. Furthermore, the accommodation is far too expensive for what you get. There are no Masseria vibes here at all. As a reaction to the owners reply: We fully understand that we have to keep the windows closed for the air conditioning to work. You give this response to all reviews that indicate that the air conditioning is lousy. In a last attempt to protect new travelers from this terrible room, another response. Yes, technically the airconditioning works. However, an airconditioning is supose to cool the room. This was absolutely not the case since it only blows warm air. The room was at all time a sauna. In the morning, during the day and during the night. It was a hell trying to sleep in that room. Maybe other rooms are better but this room was hotter than the pizza oven. Thank you very much for your review. I am sorry to hear that your stay at our Masseria was not fully satisfactory for you. As I tried to explain to you personally if you leave the door or window open the air conditioning stops. The air conditioning during the cleaning hours which are from 9:00 to 12:00 for tidying up and from 09:00 to 14:00 for new arrivals, the system blocks the winds to observe an energy saving because our rooms have direct access to the outside and my employees work with the doors open.
