This is now my new favourite Marina. Make sure you book as space is limited. The reception was amazing! We were made to feel so welcome. There is a bar and restaurant on site. When you arrive you may get a free bottle or wine cases can be ordered and delivered straight to your boat! There is a big. No BIG supermarket about 2 mins walk away and you can bring the trolley to the boat. Water and electricity are on included it is a mini resort. All for a competitive price that equates to amazing value for money. When I compare this place to Tropea they have everything right that was wrong with Tropea.

After getting a late start sailing out of Messina, we were looking for an easy stop on the way to Catania. Marina di Porto Bolaro was so much better than just a stop. It was an excellent experience. With only room for a few boats (depending on length), they snuck us into the last spot on the pier. Apologetic for the restaurant not being open, they made and brought a couple of pizzas to each boat that night...gratis! Facilities and the staff were fantastic. Thanks!

Spent a very calm night here when the wind was howling in the straits. Welcoming And friendly. Great drinks and food. Thanks to everyone and Nicola. An oasis.
