We have been coming to the region for years and know many restaurants, but the Marina Restaurant Novigrad, where we stopped off in 2023, is “on top” with its 6-course menu including amuse gueule and its excellently matched wines. The restaurant is very stylish, the service is top and very friendly, not intrusive and truly professional. What was surprising to us was that there was no menu and the courses to the menu were prepared culinary from the day's goods purchased and what the kitchen had to offer. We were seated at a table on the terrace with a wonderful view of the marina in the beautiful evening sun. The aromatic, stylish dishes prepared at the highest culinary level in combination with the excellent selection of wines were a delight that remains unforgettable for lovers of good cuisine like us. A taste that makes you want more “sea”. The sequence of dishes and the amuse gueule was a fantastic combined preparation of fresh fish dishes from loup de mer fried on the skin, octupus and shrimps, seafood and herbal coffee aromas, al dente satiating side dishes such as tagliolini, aromatic vegetables and the wine accompaniment was unique with noble Drops from Istria. A very stylish innovative restaurant with excellent creative dishes and Istrian wines! You shouldn't talk about the price, just this much: every dish is absolutely worth its price and the culinary craftsmanship speaks one hundred percent for itself in terms of performance. We will definitely come back to the Marina Restaurant Novigrad and are really looking forward to it next year. We highly recommend Marina Restaurant Novigrad.
