Atmosfera rilassata, ambiente accogliente, servizio impeccabile, cucina intrigante di solo pesce, a degustazioni…..molto buona.Prezzo adeguato all’offerta.

Visited a while ago. The restaurant is located right in front of the private marina of Novigrad and therefore its offer immediately appears very "high". After an aperitif facing the sea I go inside for dinner in an environment pleasantly warmed by the fireplace. I order two appetizers and a sole which will be prepared right on the fireplace grill. The first appetizer is a sea bass tartare served with creamy green sauce, swordfish eggs and squid ink chips. Very delicate dish and well balanced in its different components. The second appetizer is grilled octopus tentacles, with glazed pear and Istrian Terano speck chips. A very well made dish. The octopus alone is top notch. The combination with the glazed pear is interesting. Finally, a comment on the sole: it is in season and therefore very fresh and in fact it was wonderful in its simplicity of preparation. The dinner (and the aperitif) were accompanied by a fantastic Malvasia Sv. Jocov 2011 by Clai. A wine that makes a year of wood, very fragrant (apricot above all) and perfectly balanced between freshness and structure.
