Located in one of Switzerland’s oldest tea houses, Manger & Boire Nr. 22 brings a little Berlin and London spirit to the heart of Basel’s Old Town.
A creative, unconventional pop up with a lively bar downstairs and an intimate 22 seat restaurant upstairs.
Downstairs, discover a vibrant bar serving excellent wines, creative cocktails and some of the best homemade paninis in town, all at refreshingly fair prices. Everything is prepared with love, quality ingredients and a passion for good food.
Upstairs, former 14 GaultMillau point chef Roger von Büren joins forces with exciting guest chefs to create unique culinary experiences in an intimate and inspiring setting.
A little punk, wonderfully unconventional and full of character. Great food, excellent wines and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Basel.

Da italiano posso assicurarvi che il cibo non è male, forse un po' caro per i nostri standard ma comunque viene servita una cucina fresca e dagli ottimi ingredienti.Il locale è molto carino e vi abbiamo passato una piacevole serata insieme ad altri amici, gentilissima la ragazza che ci ha serviti, parlava bene l'inglese e siamo riusciti a capirci senza grossi problemi

Absolutely amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely personal, making us feel right at home. And the panini? Without a doubt the best in town. Fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and their customers. Highly recommended!
