Cibo molto buono,bella atmosfera e personale molto gentile.Non avevamo prenotato (sabato sera)ma hanno trovato comunque un posto,nonostante fosse pieno.Come dolce abbiamo preso il gelato fatto in casa..squisito!!

We reserved a table at Mandir restaurant and got the table next to the door and billing counter. When I asked politely to change the table, the Mandir team was very rude and said other reserved the table 2-3 days in advance. Despite all the tables being empty. When I asked to cancel my reservations there was radio silence, no greetings nothing. We live next door to the restaurant and they lost a customer on their very first interaction. Never met such rude folk in Basel. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Dear Mam. We are very sorry for your comments. As you know we have recenrly shifted from Schützenmattstrasse 2 Basel to Voltastrasse 121 Basel and we feel pleasure for every single guest . Here we donot have the capacity as in Our Old Restaurant but we did Our best that Our guests feel comfortable and warmth Atmosphere in Our small Restaurant. It Was saturday evening and we had most of the table for four reserved from 7 or 7.30 pm. You have reserved the table just 15 mins before you came (at 6.30 pm). You said that it is too conjusted and Other guests can hear your conversation hence you are leaving. My Staff tried to explain but you were upset and left. After you, Our regular guest took the Same table and enjoyed. We would like you to please understand that we did not have any intention to Lose Our guest, but we have to get minimum place for atleast 40 people to enable us to afford Our all costs. We are again sorry for inconvenience.

absolutely delicious and authentic indian food! they source their chicken from Switzerland and their lamb from Ireland which should receive another extra star compared to other restaurants, that try to save costs by getting it from way further away! super charming waiter as well, 12/10 would totally recommend :) Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
