Lovely place by the river. Would have said 5 stars but after eating the best burger and fries of my life, I spent the next 8 hours drinking a lot of water to fight the hiden boatload of salt that was in the food. Make it as tasty without relying on the excess of salt and it is perfect. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €15–20 Kid-friendliness: Kindvriendelijk als je kinderen oud genoeg zijn om zelf wat te spelen in stadsgras en bij het water. Jonge kinderen is niet top.

Mandl Food & Bar is a hidden gem in Maribor! They have the best burgers in town, served on homemade, daily-made brioche buns, and their brunch is just as amazing. Coffee is great too, I've had mine with coconut milk and it was delicious. Owners work behind the bar and in the kitchen and their passion to give every guest the best experience is something this town needs more of. We'll be back for sure!
