You're 100% paying for the views here. The food was decent and service was honestly great, but nothing can justify a 35 euro glass of beer. Do not recommend if you're in Positano-there are many incredible places for a fraction of what you'll pay here! Worst meal experience on the Amalfi Coast by far. Great view, but absolutely not worth the expense in money, time, or opportunity missed. Food was overcooked and under seasoned. The view was incredible. Service was awkward and clearly inexperienced in fine dining. (As an example, plates were being cleared while guests at our table were still eating, no guests were lapped, messy clearance). "Chicken and vegetables" was chicken that had sat under a warming light and undercooked potatoes. I've had the privilege of eating at some amazing places and I've also eaten at Maestro's. Ask yourself why the reservation policy is so strict and the restaurant so empty when Positano is overrun with tourists? Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
