I'm leaving five stars because everyone deserves a second chance. Because I don't like to judge. Even if now I find myself in this virtual tower of Babel to leave my opinion on the lived experience. Well, as someone said: who is without sin... So, I had a plate of agnolotti stuffed with meat. They were very good. Even if the sauce was particularly bland. Then I had a side dish of roasted porcini mushrooms (on the advice of the young waiter) which were decidedly tasty. With a glass of red wine at the right temperature I ended my short and all in all satisfying stay here at Madama Marina. Having been among the first diners to be seated, I found the service particularly fast. In the end, however, the price paid was quite high, considering that we are in Monte Compatri and not in via veneto (a criticism that seems to me in line with those of most of the other reviewers). So I take the liberty of leaving some very personal advice (as I too am an insider and perceive the potential in this place). People who cross the threshold of a restaurant seek above all pampering, consideration, pampering. Touch is a human factor that makes the difference in choosing a place of culinary ending. Otherwise one would be as good as the other. The welcome and attention in being truly available is essential to create that right alchemy that makes the customer feel like a "family". This attitude then automatically leads to the second and decisive step: loyalty (which represents the final goal of the restaurateur). Professionalism is an expense that is always worth considering and addressing. The fruits will be lush and permanent (with due time). We cannot always hope for the arrival of new patrons. One cannot hang on to fate convinced that our lucky star will solve all our problems. We need to create solid realities thanks to which new and more constant possibilities automatically blossom. Which in addition to making us live without too many worries of mind will give us a very small window into the history of the life we live; and that will satisfy us and those around us.
