We recently dined at Lungomare and left absolutely enchanted by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, particularly Tommy, whose genuine warmth and extensive knowledge of local wines elevated our evening. His recommendation of a splendid local red proved to be the perfect pairing for our meal. The appetizers set an impressive tone. The prawn dish was a study in simplicity and elegance—delicious and beautifully executed, though it could have benefited from a touch of acidity. The Hake appetizer, on the other hand, was wonderfully prepared and showcased the kitchen's technical skill. For our mains, we opted for Seabream and Swordfish, both simply prepared yet remarkably delicious. What truly impressed us was the tableside service—the attentive staff removed the head and bones from our fish with practiced ease, adding a touch of refinement to the entire experience. Dessert was the perfect finale: a traditional Mantala with almonds and bitter orange that captured the essence of Dubrovnik's culinary heritage in every bite—the bittersweet notes of orange perfectly complementing the rich almonds. Lungomare's waterfront location is spectacular, but it's the combination of fresh seafood, expert service, and genuine hospitality that makes this restaurant truly special.
