Uno dei pochissimi locali aperti Sabato 15 novembre: piacevole sorpresa! Direttamente fronte lago una schiera di camerieri molto gentili si occupava di far sentire a loro agio i clienti che alle 20 erano ancora pochi ma alle 31 numerosissimi tanto che non c'erano tavoli liberi. Il menù abbastanza vario ed i piatti ottimamente presentati. Esperienza da ripetere .

Hotel e Ristorante direttamente affacciato sul Lago di Como,molto caratteristico. Il Ristorante è carino,i prezzi sono sopra la media,il personale però è molto gentile,consiglio una visita. Dimenticavo la Pizza è molto buona.

Decent food, beautiful view, worse staff. During our trip to Lake Como, we had dinner at Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria Lumin and honestly, the view here is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The restaurant is located right on the lake, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. In the evening, you can watch the lights of the town across the water slowly turn on, which creates a truly magical atmosphere. The food was delicious. We each had just one main course and shared a dessert. The portions were slightly on the smaller side, but that’s understandable in Italy, it’s common to have both a primo (like pasta or risotto) and a secondo (usually meat or fish). We really enjoyed everything we ordered, and I’ll attach some photos to show it off. Service was a mixed experience. Some of the staff were friendly, especially one lovely woman (with grey hair) who noticed us trying to take a picture and kindly offered to help. Very sweet! Unfortunately, one waitress (with short red hair) was noticeably less friendly. After finishing our main course, we asked if we could have our dessert inside because the weather was turning and we were getting cold. We explained this, but were twice offered alternative spots on the terrace instead with some clear annoyance when we insisted we’d really prefer to sit inside. In the end, we weren’t allowed to move inside, which felt a bit unwelcoming. It kind of looks like the staff really preferred italians over people from other countries. This is also readable in other reviews. A couple of small mistakes too: we ordered iced tea lemon and got peach instead (we didn’t say anything), and I tried to ask for a 0.0 Radler-style beer, but due to my limited Italian and their limited English, it didn’t go well — again met with some visible frustration from the staff. Overall: an absolutely beautiful spot with tasty food, and mostly kind service. But there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to customer care from some of the staff. Still, I would absolutely recommend visiting this place for the stunning location and the unique experience
