Un angolo speciale. L’hotel nuovissimo, camere pulitissime e con tutti i comfort. La presentazione delle camere speciale, come si vede dalle foto, piccolezze che scaldano il Cuore. Il ristorante con cibi buonissimi ti fa proprio sentire a casa, porzioni molto abbondanti e qualità del cibo al top, ti senti come dalla nonna. Simpatia e disponibilità della proprietaria e del marito rendono il tutto ancora più accogliente. Consiglio se siete in zona di fermarvi in questo angolo di paradiso.

I stayed at the Löwenwirt for a 5-day holiday around New Year's Eve with my wife and our 5 and 9 year old girls. The stay was pleasant and upon our arrival the owner welcomed us very cordially. The hotel is family run and all the staff are courteous and kind. It is located just outside Merano but the bus service (free thanks to the tickets provided by the hotel) is very efficient and allows you to easily reach both the historic center (with the characteristic markets) and the departure of the cable car for the Merano 2000 lifts. The bus stop is really a short walk from the hotel so very convenient. The room they provided us was very nice (all wood), comfortable and functional. The bathroom had 2 sinks and a nice large shower. The room also had a terrace that overlooked the hotel's side car park. Note of absolute value is the kitchen. We always ate very well. We had chosen half board so for dinner we had a first course, a second course and a dessert. The salads were buffet style. However, for the more demanding, the hotel offers à la carte menus. I repeat, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, always very fresh and prepared with extreme care. The New Year's Eve dinner was a real delight for the palate. My wife and I haven't eaten this well in a long time. Breakfast is served as a buffet and features both sweet and savory foods. The buffet is not huge but everything is of excellent quality. The cakes were always fresh and carefully prepared. What can I say, we had a really good time and were welcomed into a truly family atmosphere and, above all, very courteous. Truly recommended.
