Stumbled across Trattoria Pizzeria Antico Capon in Venice and what a great little find! We kicked things off with bruschetta — simple, fresh, and full of flavour. Then came the pizzas I went for the Inferno, which was mild, from my point of view needed that extra bit of kick pizza base and toppings a perfect balance. The place itself has a cozy, tucked-away feel that makes you feel more like a local than a tourist. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the prices were really fair for Venice. Definitely a spot I’d come back to next time I’m wandering the canals. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall a nice restaurant, with a large area outside and a smaller area inside. When it's cold, the inside has a warm and pleasant vibe. Although it's called a Trattoria, it's pretty much a normal Touristy restaurant with many dishes and Menu in various language. Price-wise, it's relatively ok. It's not cheap nor too expensive, but the portion could aren't huge. We had: Grilled vegetable - seemed like a smaller portion compared to what I'm used to I'm Rome. They were good except the eggplant which wasn't grilled enough (we didn't want to complain about it so we just ate it as is ). Lasagne al ragù - was only OK because it wasn't very rich in flavours like the gnocchi. Also it wasn't very big - although it was a Primi dish, they are sometimes bigger and can serve as a main dish. Gnocchi al ragù - was very good and with a nice sauce. Bigoli al salsa (pasta dish)- wasn't very good. Service: It was overall good. No complains here To conclude: We came here mainly because we had TheFork voucher to use, but if you are in the area and looking for a place to eat for a decent price (again, not cheap not expensive) you may consider this place. Nice, english speaking staff. Menu in many languages. Pizza was very tasty. Tiramisu too. I'd definitely change candles to not scented ones. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Many options, including pizza Dietary restrictions: Allergies clearly stated in menu
