Se ti capita di essere nei dintorni del Duomo (Cathedral) of Barga, prova questo locale. La cucina italiana è sul menu del ristorante L'Osteria Di Riccardo Negri. Ineguagliabili pasta e agnello possono essere quello che ti ci vuole. Quando vai in questo ristorante, devi assolutamente provare l'ottimo vino.
Il preparato personale lavora duramente, ha un atteggiamento positivo e rende questo posto meraviglioso.

This was probably the only place open when we arrived late in the evening on a Saturday- but we were in for a treat! My husband and I loved the casual and homey ambience, the friendly and funny waitstaff and of course the food- do yourself a favor and order the lamb chops; they are delicious. We paired that course with vegetable soup, the sausage and tomato pasta and a bottle of red wine, and enjoyed the complimentary basket of bread brought out with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Later on in the week we came back and enjoyed a cheese/meats platter along with some really good lasagna and previously ordered favorites - all was very tasty and the staff is so pleasant :)

Wonderful little restaurant in the heart of old section of Barga. I stayed in Barga for about a month and ate there at least 8 times. The owner who regularly helps out at the restaurant to wait tables is very friendly and speaks good English. Authentic Italian food made with fresh ingredients. I recommend the baked lasagna; it's life changing!

The service was beyond slow. The house wine was mediocre. The bread was stale. The cheese didn't have any flavor. The pasta with truffle tasted like paper. Seriously waiting 45 minutes for a cold lamb, dried beans is unacceptable. Don't waste your money here. The worst part....the waitress seemed insulted because we didn't like this horrible food. Stay away.
