Have you ever heard of Little Bean Roastery?... it was one of the first specialty roasteries in Italy back in 2013. It is located outside Pavia. Since then, the two founders have been roasting excellent and exquisite specialty coffee with lots of passion and expertise. Ahead of the times. This is not a traditional coffee shop, more of a shop with a coffee school attached. Possible to taste and purchase. For those who want, on their website you can find the courses of the independent coffee shop academy. But even just going there for 5 or 10 minutes and talking to the owners is a lesson in the history of coffee and espresso, in itself. For example? I discovered the first on-demand coffee grinder... invented in Italy! Right in the Pavia area. Guru of Specialty Coffee in Italy, he offers exceptional coffees roasted with great care and lots and lots of passion. It organizes courses that have trained the current Italian barista champions. Almost hidden near a "semi-clandestine" airport, it is really worth hunting down. My new reference in Specialty Coffee.
