Dining at this restaurant with a great view of Mittlere Brucke will be a beautiful experience for visitors. The menu of Swiss cuisine is to the pleasure of all clients here. Try perfectly cooked cheese fondue, lamb and Currywurst. The feature of Linde is serving tasty Brezeln and good ice cream. Visit this place and order delicious beer.

We were looking for something slightly off the tourist-beaten track, and away from the trendy places that seem to predominate the Marktplatz area now. Rheingasse in the Kleinbasel seems to host a number of such places. I HIGHLY recommend Restaurant Linde for real Swiss food, in a beautiful back-alley setting. We shared the mixed salad (a combination of fresh veg and pickled veg) the beer fondue (a welcome innovation on traditional cheese fondue) and the liver & potato plate. I look forward to my next visit to Basel, and the opportunity to try more menu selections. Only downside: just one server to cover what looked like 12 or 14 tables. She was *constantly* running back and forth. But when we had her attention we had very helpful and friendly service.
