Se ti viene fame dopo aver visitato il Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola, vai a mangiare in questo pub & bar. I sapori piccanti della cucina italiana e mediterranea attraggono molti clienti. Buon lido, materiali ( lettini , ombrelloni) nuovi. Servizi ok. Mare magnifico.

Ottimo posto dove fare un pranzo anche con prodotti locali e bere qualcosina per andare up e godersi il mare da favola. Rafazzi del personale veloci e educati. PS. Però comprate il Mezcal che al mare non può mancare

Lido Isola Bella is my favorite in Tropea and I have been going there for several years. The size of the umbrella is slightly larger than other lidos (great for when you want shade during the hottest hours), the food at lunch is excellent, the aperitif at sunset is delicious and the staff is courteous and helpful (among 'else it's nice to see the same guys every year and not a continuous exploitation as often happens in the industry). In August the price for an umbrella and two sunbeds is €50 from the second row, very expensive of course, but that's the way it is in Tropea, the sanctuary area. Unfortunately, however, a high price does not correspond to a service of the same level. In reality, very few tricks would be enough: for example, the toilets are cleaned in the morning when they open and then left for the whole day. If, hypothetically, between 11 and 15, a member of the staff loses 10 minutes of time in shifts to throw just a little water with the pump on the toilet and on the floor, check the soap and toilet paper levels, the situation would not change. by little. To be honest, this year you had the excellent idea of putting a huge soap dispenser (among other things almond milk flavored, very pleasant) at least it was always present. Even though you use the maxi roll, the toilet paper runs out by 11 on average, not to mention that it often falls on the floor due to the dispenser being broken for years ("jumbo toilet paper roll holder" costs €25 online). Furthermore, how much could a carpenter ask you for a 1 meter x 40cm wooden plank (or whatever it is) with waterproofing to replace the step (broken for years) of the left staircase that leads from the beach to the showers and bathrooms? I have given 4 stars to this review but I will be happy to add one when I see these measures put in place. I understand that the bathroom situation is also partly due to the rudeness of many customers (I will never forget August 15, 2019 when there was a violent downpour at the end of lunch forcing everyone to seek shelter. There were 10 of us and the storm was over we went back to pay the lunch bill - around €350 in total - but the majority of customers took advantage of the situation to disappear without paying) but in any case you can enhance your place with these and other small tricks!
