I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the tea room Les petites artisanes in Geneva. This is a lovely bakery just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Geneva University Hospital, and it’s especially known for its cookies with different toppings. I tried the raspberry one, which combines raspberry jam and other raspberry-based preparations. Both the cookie dough itself, its crunch, and the raspberry topping were truly delicious. I had it with a ristretto that was perfectly good. Service is quick and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. There’s a small terrace on a rather busy street leading to the hospital, but it’s still a nice spot to enjoy good weather. They serve everything on a small tray, which you bring back inside once you’ve finished. A great place for a quick snack or light bite if you happen to be near the hospital.
