Walking on the high plateau and along the hollow of Van, it was almost 1:30 p.m. and impossible to find an open alpine restaurant: they all close for the fall. We therefore decide to go down to find something to eat in Couvet: and we come across Les Plânes, fortunately still open! They kindly agreed to serve us despite the hour: beautiful homemade terrines, tasty ham with honey and very nicely presented. Quantities so generous that we asked for “doggy bags” when we left so as not to waste these beautiful products. Well done and thank you to the team.
