In search of a place to celebrate our daughter’s splendid GCSE results, whilst holidaying in Nendaz, we stumbled upon this delightful restaurant. Our host was extremely accommodating, helping us to understand and enjoy the best way to experience our meat fondue. For us, the dish was both novel and delicious, with the ability to prepare the generous chunks of steak in exactly the manner which suited. We opted for a main and a desert and neither disappointed. The host was also kind enough to take a beautiful picture of our group so that no-one needed to be missing from this lasting momento. The atmosphere was lovely, with all of the surrounding tables taken by the time we finished our meal. The vibe is cozy and rustic, and whilst our children are very well behaved, one gets the impression that younger children would be most welcome. The entrance to the restaurant is on one level and should be wheelchair friendly but please check with the host to be sure. We would highly recommend Le Raccard if you ever happen to be anywhere close by to this beautiful location. Price per person: CHF 40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
