Very disappointing and extremely rude experience at Michelangelo in Crans-Montana. I stood at the entrance for around 15 minutes patiently waiting to be acknowledged, while several tables appeared to be available. The manager was nearby but completely ignored me and instead immediately approached the people who arrived after me, just because I do not speak French. I politely asked if someone who spoke English could assist me. I was then told that they were fully booked for the entire evening and that there were no tables available. However, the people who arrived behind me were immediately seated, without a reservation. When I asked the English-speaking waiter what had happened and why I had been ignored despite waiting first, I was told that the manager ādoesnāt have time for this,ā and she walked away. I also tried several times to speak to her calmly, but she repeatedly walked past me and at one point put her hand up toward my face to stop me from speaking. I have never experienced such an unwelcoming attitude at a restaurant. Whether this was because I did not speak French or for another reason, the treatment felt discriminatory and extremely disrespectful. I came expecting a nice meal and instead left feeling completely unwelcome. Very poor customer service and absolutely not an experience I would recommend. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner
