I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the coffee spot Le Duque in Chêne-Bougeries, canton of Geneva, Switzerland. I stopped by this café for a quick break and had a freshly squeezed orange juice and a pastel de nata. The juice was fresh and quite good. As for the pastel de nata, I found it a bit too sticky and sweet for my taste, but still decent overall. Prices were reasonable, and the service was polite, though not particularly warm. The interior atmosphere felt a bit plain — background radio was playing, but perhaps some more stylish music and a few decorative touches could help elevate the vibe. There’s a tiny terrace out front, partially shaded, which could be a nice spot to cool off in the summer. However, it faces a busy street with trams and cars passing by. All in all, it was a decent experience — nothing exceptional, but certainly not bad either. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 1–10
