A lovely atmosphere and incredible food with a view of the castle and a patio. The ingredients are sourced locally and the pastries are also made in house. If you are looking for farm-to-table in Switzerland this is your place! It was awesome to bike through vineyards and farmlands and then eat locally sourced food and amazing local wine! Our server was extremely kind and met our every need. The chef came out to greet us personally several times and even prepared a special gluten-free version of the amuse buche for one of our party. Definitely try the homemade apple strudel if you can. Heavenly. We enjoyed our time so much we stayed over three hours. The service was perfectly timed, the food beautifully presented, and the service was exceptional. After we got back to our hotel my mom even said it was "one of the best meals" of her life! This restaurant is truly excellent. You might wonder why. We spent a lovely two‑hour evening there, and everything about it felt warm and welcoming. The staff, including the chef, greeted us personally, setting the tone for a pleasant and calm atmosphere.The table was beautifully arranged, and they treated us to fresh bread and an amuse bouche to start. We also had the Burrata appetizer. My main course was cod, perfectly cooked and wonderfully flaky. My father-in-law said the hamburger of local beef was great. Add in good drinks, a fresh salad, delicious food, and genuinely friendly people, and the whole experience became unforgettable. We also got a palatte cleanser. We are about to order desert!
