The trip to Läckerli Huus Genusswelt was worth visiting and a best one. The entrance ticket is CHF 8 for adults (with CHF 5 redeemable at the gift shop), this is really a great opportunity for Läckerli lovers. You get to know the history and craft of the famous Läckerli, it was a fun eating the items given during the visit. I’d recommend this place who loves Swiss based sweets! This is worth visiting over Lindt factory and you can redeem the CHF 5 at the store to buy their products.

It’s essentially an exhibition attached to the Basel Läckerli Huus factory. It’s not a sprawling museum but rather a compact product showcase - which I liked because I went over precisely to sample/try some Swiss sweets/chocolates before deciding whether to lug it back home. As compared to d other cheese making factory or even lindt home of chocolate, this feels a little more like a brand showroom than an immersive factory tour -> overall still very enjoyable I didn’t have to book in advance

The trip out to Läckerli Huus Genusswelt was so worth it! It’s a bit further from Basel’s centre, but for only CHF 8 for adults (with CHF 5 redeemable at the gift shop), the value is excellent. The interactive exhibition was a highlight, you get to walk through the history and craft of the famous Basler Läckerli, it was a fun, sensory experience that left me full and smiling. Highly recommend for anyone who loves food experiences and Swiss sweets!
