Sono capitato per puro caso a conoscere questo luogo. I proprietari sono inglesi (parlano pochissimo in italiano) stra disponibili e gentili. Luogo veramente affascinante sulla via Francigena aperto da pochissimi giorni con camere grandi, pulite e con ogni confort. Circondato solo da campagne e non da strade principali vi offrirà un silenzio da far invidia a qualsiasi altra struttura in zona questo ve lo posso assicurare. Offre una piscina riscaldata e di un giardino che vi farà perdere gli occhi. Prezzi ? forse un filo altini. La posizione forse non troppo comoda, ma comunque raggiungerete in macchina con un tempo medio che va dai 20 ai 50 m Certaldo (da vedere assolutamente), San Gimignano, Volterra e Siena. Credo che l'unica cosa che debbano migliorare assolutamente sia colazione che lo trovata veramente povera di prodotti per il resto è un luogo veramente affascinante ottimo per staccare la testa. Tornerò di certo consiglio per chi legge di prenotare in tempo perchè non dispone di troppe camere (è anche questo il bello). Sul sito riporta la disponibilità di usufruire di bici elettriche data la possibilità di avere degli ottimi sentieri percorribili noi non abbiamo ne chiesto e ne provato. Però ho notato la possibilità di ricaricare le auto elettriche.

Thank you very much for staying with us and spending the time to write a review, we appreciate it. Yes we do have electronic bikes that guests can use. We have 4 available, so it’s on a first come first serve basis. We are sorry our breakfast didn’t meet your expectation. Everyday we have quiches & cakes, hand made and freshly baked each morning. Also freshly baked pastries such as croissant, pane au chocolate, etc. We also offer a variety of cold items on the buffet table and fresh fruit juices served to the table, as well as ‘made to order' hot selection, such as eggs royale, pancakes, cooked fresh and served to your table. We also change the items daily to ensure you do not get the same repeated food during the stay. We realize we do not have a menu, to list all the hot dishes on offer, so that is something we will work on. Without more detailed feedback it’s difficult to understand what more we can do at the breakfast service. We would appreciate if you can send us a private message to let us mnow how we can improve the breakfast for your next visit.We appreciate you staying with us and very glad we got to meet you both. We hope we get the chance to meet you again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the end of May! There is nothing we would change except that we wish we could have stayed longer! It’s undeniable how much hard work and passion has been poured into La Torre by Angus and Scott. The property is gorgeous. Our room was large, exceptionally clean, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the daily breakfast (delicious and plentiful!) and the aperitif in the afternoon. It was fun getting to know everyone and to hear what other guests had planned. We also loved the daily greetings from our new furry friends Tux, Fin and Palino :) Our stay at La Torre was the most relaxing part of our trip. We really enjoyed slowing our pace, visiting the surrounding area, while still having time to relax by the pool and take in the beautiful scenery. Angus and staff (shoutout to Michela!): Thank you for the best hospitality, the recommendations of things to do/places to visit, restaurants for dinner (all amazing!), and the list goes on! We hope to return soon!

An unforgettable stay in the heart of Tuscany! We had a truly wonderful time staying at La Torre sulla Via Francigena with our family. The hotel is full of character, blending rustic Tuscan charm with modern comforts, and set in a beautifully restored historic tower. One of the highlights of our trip was joining our first-ever black truffle hunt right in the forest next to the hotel — an incredible and unique experience we’ll never forget! The guide and truffle dogs were fantastic, and it was a real treat to enjoy freshly found truffles afterward. The location is also perfect — peaceful and authentic, yet very convenient for day trips to some of Tuscany’s most famous cities like Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, and Lucca. Whether you're here for the wine, culture, food, or simply to relax, this place offers it all. Huge thanks to Angus, Scott, and the whole team for the warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back — and recommending La Torre to all our friends! — Felix & Family
