We travel a lot and as skiers we have visited Padola many times. This time we were looking for a comfortable hotel that offers, among others, a gym and a sauna. Upon arrival, it turned out that despite the high price for 1 room: 2 nights for EUR 485, the sauna was charged additionally: EUR 30 for activation, and the gym was only open from 6-8 p.m. The hotel lobby seemed closed, it was dark in the evenings, the corridors too, and we had the distinct impression that the owners were saving electricity. Our suspicions were confirmed when there was no hot water in the tap after 10 p.m. Breakfasts also disappointed us: we arrived at 9:00 and we found a few slices of ham, but no cheese at all. There was no one to ask for a second helping because no one from the staff showed up. It is worth noting that breakfasts are served from 7:30 to 9:30. At 9:28 the owner appeared and ostentatiously turned off the vessel for heating scrambled eggs and the music, letting us know that we had to leave the premises. We are lovers of pets, especially cats, because we have a cat ourselves. However, the presence of cats in the lobby and corridors of a 4-star hotel is questionable. We decided to write this review because we believe that the hotel certainly does not meet the criteria of a 4 * hotel, and the exorbitant price and low quality of service disappointed us greatly.
