We do not present ourselves, nor have we ever claimed to be, a quiet or traditional restaurant.Those looking for peace and quiet or a completely different atmosphere certainly have many other options to choose from. Taking the time to inform yourself before booking simply allows you to choose a venue that suits your expectations, rather than later criticizing it for the very characteristics that clearly define its identity.

Dear Alessandro, We are sorry to read a description that, quite frankly, we find difficult to recognize as representative of La Scogliera.We have never intended to present ourselves as a “luxury” restaurant in the traditional sense of the word, nor as a formal or conventional establishment. Our idea of exclusivity is entirely different: it begins with a truly unique location overlooking the sea of the La Maddalena Archipelago, where many of our guests arrive directly by boat every day.La Scogliera is a place where people come to enjoy good food, spend time together, have fun, listen to music, and experience a very particular atmosphere. This is what we offer and what has defined us for over twenty years. For us, exclusive does not necessarily mean formal, refined, or quiet.We are also surprised by the description of our staff as cold, impatient, and unfriendly. Hospitality is a fundamental part of our philosophy, and our entire team works every day with professionalism and genuine attention to our guests.As for our prices, they are clearly displayed on our menus and reflect not only our culinary offering, but also the setting and the overall experience that La Scogliera provides.We fully understand that our concept may not suit everyone’s tastes or expectations. What we would like to emphasize, however, is that La Scogliera does not pretend to be something it is not: it has a clear and distinctive identity, built over more than twenty years, and it is precisely this identity that brings so many guests back to us season after season.
