We came to eat for my father's birthday on a Saturday evening and the experience was overall mixed. There was a large table that evening which monopolized all the attention of the waiters and cooks, to the detriment of the other customers of the establishment: - Welcome quickly, putting the cards on the table under the influence of stress, not a word before coming back to us 10 minutes later. To guide us a minimum. - Several basic mineral drinks (coke, cold tea) were no longer in stock on a Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. (!). The minimum when approaching a weekend (and especially when you know that you will have large tables or special events) is to plan your stocks accordingly. - Lack of variety in the menu. Coming to a restaurant called "La Différence" and which promotes unique creations, you expect more than meat/fish/fried tartare combos or pasta with cream. No vegetarian starter except a green lettuce salad, the rest being redundant with the main dishes (pasta, meat, fish but in small portions). - Waiting way too long! We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and our plates were served at 9 p.m. Fortunately, and one of the only positive points, the main course for me was good (hunting). - The dessert, a tiramisu, was also good but nothing more. Note the good will of the waiters to do their best, and the kindness of the cook who came to greet us at the end of his service. This is why I gave the establishment 3 stars and no less. There is potential in this restaurant, but yesterday the experience was clearly insufficient and I will not be returning soon. This opinion is written not to overwhelm the establishment, but rather to push it to fully exploit its potential and eliminate dysfunctions. It is also a very beautiful place which could be even more enhanced with more modern furniture or more in line with the type of building.
