Cena di sabato, forse non sono organizzati per troppa affluenza eppure con menù fisso pensavamo che fossero agevolati. Cibo ottimo, ambiente molto accogliente. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €40–50

Posto molto bello specie all'aperto tra gli ulivi. Servizio veloce. Pietanze buone, in alcuni casi un poʻ misere (frittura). Non c'è scelta per le pietanze. (Solo per il secondo piatto una scelta tra due) ma si sa da prima. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50

The La Cantina di Sant'Agustino restaurant in Grottammare is an authentic jewel set in the heart of the ancient inasato of Grottammare. Located in a former 16th century convent, this place embodies an extraordinary combination of history and gastronomy. The atmosphere of the convent, with the cloister, the vegetable garden and the orange garden, is a dive into the past that transports you to an era in which tradition and culture were deeply rooted. The ancient chapter house with the sixteenth-century fresco of Sant'Agustino adds a touch of grandeur to our experience. The evening spent with friends in this evocative context was an unforgettable experience. The starters, from the delicate seafood salad to the exquisite breaded anchovies with rocket and caramelized onion, clearly opened up the appetite in a delicious way. The parsley and lemon octopus and the swordfish skewer with aubergines and yogurt sauce were true masterpieces. The fact that we were able to dine in the wonderful garden, surrounded by orange and olive trees, certainly added a touch of magic to our dinner. Then with the Mezzi paccheri tuna alla Genovese and the mixed fried fish with local fish we achieved culinary perfection. Finally, the choice of Luigi's homemade ice cream, with seasonal flavors such as ricotta and figs, was the icing on the cake. The excellent service and coffee ended the evening in a splendid way, making the reunion with my friends even more special. Thanks to all the staff of the La Cantina restaurant in Sant'Agustino for this wonderful experience. This is a truly extraordinary place to rediscover and share with friends.
