Son stata già un paio di volte in questo hotel. L' ultima volta la camera con vista lago era splendida. Adoro la sala colazione non solo per il cibo ottimo, ma anche per la vista spettacolare. Anche il ristorante la serve un' ottima cena. Recepionist professionali e accoglienti. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet

Easter holidays 2011. I took refuge here during a sudden escape from home; after a night spent sleeping on some steps outdoors, I showed up at the reception, provided my details and was immediately assigned a room. However, having arrived at the moment, without a reservation, I was placed in a room without a view of the lake or the outside, but still very large, finely furnished in a classic style, but well cared for, light beige colour, I remember the considerable space to arrange also all my accessories, like laptop, tablet, etc. The bathroom is also large, clear, super clean, with a touch of luxurious and fragrant refinement. It's a shame not to have any outdoor space, not even a small balcony, but I had a very good time and rested completely, thanks to the peaceful, quiet but lively environment in the hall and in the pool area, which unfortunately I didn't use, even though it was offered to me. a swimsuit in my size, but I had never even had a day of sun yet, I was cadaverous white and I was embarrassed, so I politely declined. Excellent breakfast, except that I couldn't stop sleeping and then I realized that the ladies in charge of cleaning were waiting to be able to tidy up the room ahaha but I had left everything in order, excellently arranged as expected, apart from the sheets on the bed, which I remember they were very fresh, very pleasant given the already high temperature of those days and I enjoyed them until the end =) The lady in charge (owner?) was very kind and made sure I had a good "holiday" until check out. I was pleasantly surprised by the total expense, which I expected to be much higher, but instead it turned out to be very accessible, even during the Easter period and the presence of tourism in Orta. Only two things didn't excite me: the absence of a restaurant in the hotel to dine in the evening and the lack of organization for parties or events within the complex, in fact in the evening the hall was lonely, as everyone went out to the village. So I too went around and one evening I returned well after the time established by the regulations, I had to ring and wait a moment, but I was accepted anyway, without any controversy, to return to the room to rest after an alcoholic evening pretty tough =D Among the clients hosted in those days there was no one with an extroverted spirit and desire to socialize; they were generally families, couples or in any case people who wanted to be on their own, almost annoyed by my (first and only) attempt to converse, receiving in fact a concise response and quick greeting of circumstance, of farewell. Same attitude in the evening/night clubs of the village, where each group maintained total confidentiality, eating and drinking among their gathered acquaintances, without allowing "intruders". During my stay, I witnessed the interpretation of an animated reconstruction set in medieval times, with the participation of really good falconers, who allowed me to admire the majestic birds of prey that they governed with total safety and precision. Unfortunately, as the square was extremely crowded, I had to observe the show from a slightly excessive distance, but I helped myself with the powerful zoom of the handycam (50x zoom), with which I was able to record admirable shots that I still have today, with a of nostalgia. Summing up, a majestic hotel, in a dominant position, perhaps the best in the place, with truly remarkable dimensions and an elegant internal and external appearance, refined even in the details, but equipped with extremely usable comfort and everything that contributes to keeping me, from a distance of years, a positive and original memory, a unique experience. Rooms: Very large, very comfortable bed, extremely clean and tidy. Nearby activities: Leaving the hotel you find yourself on the main avenue, equipped with various commercial activities, especially linked to typical products or souvenirs and souvenir articles, of a tourist nature, to quickly arrive in the main square of Orta, surrounded by precious restaurants and bars or entertainment venues with various services. Food & drinks: When I stayed there was no restaurant available for dinner in the evening, I hope that now they have a kitchen and dining room. Noteworthy details: The swimming pool is perhaps the aspect that most brings a touch of aesthetic refinement and large dimensions, suitable to allow use even in the event of crowding, without everyone being crowded together.
