At first I thought that the store was so well rated because of the very good and fair prices. But the pictures also say a lot. First of all: one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten! We lived in the hotel right next door and were looking for pizza on the first evening. There are also pizzerias in the shopping area, but a normal pizza there costs 30 to 35 francs. That's far too expensive, that's what I say as a Swiss. Not so at La Boursière. The prices here are very fair for Switzerland. The atmosphere is a bit rustic but with a Swiss touch. As soon as you enter the restaurant you know that you have come to the right place. You are immediately greeted charmingly by the service and taken to a table. People work here who know what gastronomy is and means. People work here with heart and skill. For starters we had the tomato mozzarella salad. Yes, it sounds banal, but it's really not very easy. You often get a carelessly prepared plate of watery tomatoes. Not here. The salad was beautifully presented with nice little mozzarella balls and fresh basil. And then the details that make a salad: the tomatoes were good and tasted like tomatoes, the olive oil was of very good quality and the icing on the cake was the coarse sea salt, which was used in the perfect dosage. Perfect. Then the pizza came to the table. We had a regular pizza and a galzone (covered pizza). The first bite was a revelation. A pizza dough from home and not from the industry! And the filling or topping? Also very good. All very nice ingredients and freshly made. Just wow! I've eaten a lot of pizza around the world. I also went for pizza in many places in Italy. I can say: this pizza is one of my personal top 3 in the world! Perfect dough, perfect amount of toppings, and a pizzaiolo who knows his craft. Just wow. And thanks to the long resting time for the dough, the pizza is not heavy at all. That's exactly the secret to good pizza dough, period. There isn't a big selection for dessert, but the tiramisu and Mouse Au Chocolat were very good and homemade. The service was super friendly the whole time and you could tell it wasn't an act but rather it came from the heart. Just great to have such a person in service. The selection of wines is small, very small. There are wines from the region. I'm not a fan of Swiss wine, but we decided on a bottle of red wine from Geneva. A real surprise. Very good. I can recommend it. And all of this at a very fair price. My standard question at the end about whether I would come back was unnecessary. I definitely have to come back here.
