Buona struttura, personale competente, buon ristorante.Situato in zona tranquilla e vicino al centro paese. In 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge la stazione
I had a lovely stay at the Alpine Hotel Perren. As a solo female traveler I was a bit nervous to travel alone, but I found the hotel to be very safe and welcoming (Zermatt always is). I stayed in one of their single rooms, which was surprisingly spacious. The shower had excellent water pressure, and although the bed was a bit too soft for my liking, I got used to it by the second night. There wasn't a kettle in the room, but when I requested one, they provided it, which was great. I visited the bar every night, and the staff there were incredibly friendly—special shoutout to Tatiana and Pedro. The food in the restaurant was lovely; the burger was amazing, and the cordon bleu was deliciously cheesy. Breakfast was pretty good, with fresh bread and cheese. Just a heads up, if you arrive late, you might miss out on scrambled eggs, as breakfast ends at 10:00. However, I really enjoyed their selection and good coffee. The hotel is conveniently located near the Sunnegga funicular. Although the slopes were closed during my visit in late November 2024, I was still able to ski by taking the Matterhorn Express to Furggsattel. The cable cars were about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which was manageable. Check-out is at 11:00, which felt a bit early, but they allowed me to check in earlier, so it balanced out. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with my queries. I loved my stay so much that I extended it by one night. And I got a little homemade flapjack at the end of my stay there: Thank you to everyone at the hotel! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value
