Our Alpine Brasserie `La Barrique' is a French-influenced restaurant in the heart of Zermatt, known for its use of alpine and local products, including cheese, meat and fish. The menu offers French dishes and traditional classics with a modern twist.

The wine list is extensive, with selected wines from the Valais and our neighbouring countries, making it the perfect destination for any wine lover. With its cosy atmosphere, delicious food and exceptional wine selection, La Barrique is a must for any visitor to Zermatt.

Non posso che dare 5 stelle. Prezzo ottimo e posizione eccellente. Il buffet a colazione è molto ricco e il cibo buono. Personale cordiale e sempre disponibile.

Eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo, considerata la posizione. Ottima colazione (ma senza dolci, per chi non può farne a meno). Le camere hanno un ampio balcone con vista sul Cervino. Un'ottima spa gratuita. Difficile trovare di meglio, a Zermatt, a quel prezzo (meno di 100€ al giorno)

After traveling for 6 weeks through Europe and staying in a mix of Airbnbs and hotels all around the same price range, Alpine Hotel Perren stood out as one of my favorite places to stay. With a hearty breakfast included and a location in Zermatt that simply can’t be beat, this hotel offered not only comfort but also a perfect fit with the charm and character of the town itself. Having a balcony plus the option to step outside the hotel and see the Matterhorn in the distance was wonderful. Even the old-style elevator added to the experience! Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to use the sauna, but it was a great perk to be offered at no charge. What also stood out was how hard the staff worked to make everything run smoothly. There were plenty of people available if I needed anything, which made a busy breakfast service feel effortless. For anyone looking for a 3-star option that delivers far more than you’d expect, I’d happily recommend this stay. Service: 5
