The staff are amazing. Just sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine is enough to make your night complete.

Sentimental journey, as for us L'Ermitage was our home. We spent many seasons rushing to and from our duties in Montreux and Catherine ran a very tight home for us to return to each time. Things were simple then and we had a player piano in the drawing room to play our special tune, 'The Great Gatsby'. Our bar overlooked the sunshine filled patio. Each time we stepped off the quai into our back yard, we knew just how lucky we really were. Many nights we never slept towards the end of the magical home's run. We knew it would soon be filled with travelers from near and far and it would continue to fulfill the dreams of many other wanderers of the heart. My only true love....L'Ermitage en Claren
