If you are looking for a home made, high quality, reasonably priced place to eat local food in Neretva valley area, look no further, you will not find the better place then Konoba Vrilo! It’s a bit out of way, but absolutely worth the short drive, as food was simply delicious, portions generous and prices very reasonable. This is a family run restaurant so the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and staff treat you as a family member. In a same time, this is not a fancy restaurant with square plates and French chef. It’s a simple, local, genuine but spotlessly clean. We went for local specialty of eal and frog stew, with some sea food risotto, with local red wine and home made cake, and everything was just delicious. All for a friction of price you would pay 20 km away on the coast. Let me just add that almost all the guests were locals, no tourist’s were present when we were there, and this say’s enough about what to expect Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
