Locale carino con vista spettacolare, prezzi elevati, non giustificati dalla qualità, insalata di polpo 19 €, il sapore dell'aglio copriva quello del pesce,. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: €30–35

After a wonderful day at the Biokovo Mountain Skywalk, we happened to pass by Konoba Kampanel Tučepi on our way back. It was already dark, but the location was so beautiful that we decided to turn around and stop for dinner. What a great decision that turned out to be! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who made us feel like regular guests. It wasn’t forced friendliness, but a sincere and genuine welcome. We got a table outside with a breathtaking view from the mountain overlooking the coastline—a setting that couldn’t be more perfect. The food was a delightful surprise. With four different dishes on the table, each one was so delicious that we ended up sharing everything. The flavors were unique, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. It was clear that care and attention had been put into every dish. I’ve dined at Michelin-starred restaurants where you pay three times the price for half the quality of what we experienced here. Konoba Kampanel is an absolute must-visit. The next time I’m in the Makarska area, this restaurant will be at the top of my list to return to.
