Ottimo cibo, proprietari disponibili e cortesi, molto premurosi (durante la cena c'è stato un violento temporale con un fulmine caduto nelle vicinanze, si sono subito prodigati ad aiutare la clientela in difficoltà). Servizio veloce. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Fortin is one of those places that instantly feels warm and genuine the moment you walk in. It’s a family-run restaurant, and that shows in the atmosphere — friendly faces, a personal touch, and a real sense of pride in what they do. The owner is incredibly welcoming, greeting guests like old friends. He speaks four languages, so even if you’re visiting from abroad, you’ll have no trouble getting recommendations or understanding the menu. It’s a cozy, local spot, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait a bit during busy hours — it’s worth it. The space is small but full of charm, and you can feel that everything about the place has been kept authentic. One of the highlights here is the homemade wine, which the owner makes himself. It’s exactly what you’d hope for — earthy, smooth, and full of character. There’s something special about sipping a glass of wine that was made just a few metres away by the same person who’s serving it. As for the food, it was consistently excellent. The Ćevapi were cooked to perfection — juicy, well-seasoned, and served with just the right sides(Fries). The Černé Rizoto (Black Risotto), made with cuttlefish ink, was a completely new experience for me. It’s apparently a local specialty, and I can see why. It had a deep, rich flavour and a strong aftertaste that lingered pleasantly — definitely something to try if you’re after a true taste of the region. The fish dishes were also beautifully prepared and cooked just right, showing real care and understanding of fresh local ingredients. To finish, we had the Rozata, the local version of crème brûlée, and it was outstanding — creamy, flavourful, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. If you’re in Trogir and want to experience genuine local cooking in a place that feels like home, Konoba Fortin is the one. Between the food, the hospitality, and the charm of the owner and his son, it’s easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Croatia.
