Pesce di media qualità. Non vale il prezzo ma questo a mio parere vale per tutti i ristoranti di pesce del centro storico che ho provato. Servizio molto gentile, patio carino. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–35

Ci siamo fermati per l’atmosfera positiva che la location dava. Già all’antipasto ci siamo resi conto che la qualità era scadente, insalata di polpo con solo ceci e capperi, del polpo solo una lontana apparizione. Le cozze erano vecchie, pulite male e forse scongelate, nulla a che vedere con l’impepata di cozze classica. La portata principale, il risotto al nero di seppia sapeva di limone e aglio, non si sentiva il sapore del pesce. L’unico piatto sufficiente (ne abbiamo mangiati di meglio in giro per la Croazia) è stato il Tuna grigliato. Posto da evitare!! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We chose Deep Shade tavern for our last meal in split after visiting a neighbouring one last night. Both me and my partner ordered a fish with a side of fries and a ‘Greek’ salad. The fish was outstanding! It was well grilled and delicious! The fries were also nicely cooked, compared to the very pale fries we’ve had over the last week in most restaurants. The house wine, we ordered white was also delicious, dry but with lovely hints of citruses. Unfortunately although the food was great (maybe except the Greek salad which did not even resemble a Greek salad) the service was outrageous. Don’t get me wrong, the staff were nice and friendly but the organisation at that place was shocking. Not only we waited ages to order, we waited ages for the food to be delivered. We were given incorrect information about the pricing of the wine as well(not part of the menu) there were at least 5 employees working that night and there were around 8 tables to be served and all 5 employees seemed to be running around like headless chicken, bumping into each other, messing up orders (including ours, the salad was not brought to the table until I reminded them about it) overall, great food, terrible service Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kn 250–300
