L'aspetto più interessante del ristorante Restaurant Koh-Lanta è la cucina tailandese. Gli ineguagliabili filetto americano e minestra ti impressioneranno al primo assaggio. L'atmosfera ospitale di questo locale dipende in larga misura dal personale, che qui è davvero sveglio. Rimarrai sicuramente contento dell'encomiabile servizio. Literally horrible food- it’s impossible to swallow down. Owner is so incredibly rude. Opening times on google are incorrect. Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

You couldn’t pay me to go back there. The food is terrible, we couldn’t swallow it down, and borderline unsafe to eat. The owner is incredibly rude, and doesn’t understand the concept of allergies, cross contamination and risks involved when cooking with allergens. Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Dietary restrictions: Don’t eat there if you have a dietary restriction and especially not an allergy because it will not be respected.

I cannot put into words how terrible this experience was but I shall try anyway. It seems like common sense for me, that someone who owns a restaurant, for over a decade apparently, should know what the concept of allergens- especially fatal ones- is. My friend has a severe peanut allergy so we are used to calling restaurants, especially asian ones that use nuts in many of their cuisines, before ordering or eating their to make sure it is safe for her to eat, taking time to repeat over and over again that it’s a really serious allergy, explaining the concept of cross contamination (which most professionals know about dare I say), and explaining that it means peanut oil is also a no-go just to cover all the basis. Usually, it’s a fairly easy process, professionals knowing how to respond to these types of situations but this lady assured me over the phone that it would be safe to eat and once more when I gave her the whole speech again when I came to order in person and yet what did we find in our food ? Whole peanuts You would think this is a joke or a mistake but when confronted (the next day as unfortunately having taken take away we only realised when it was already closed and had to therefor end up cooking instead of eating their food we specifically ordered for a birthday) she turned into the rudest person to exist, refused to take accountability for her actions and started straight up lying (for example saying I had never called her beforehand meanwhile I have a whole call log that proves I did). My friend and her mother then confronted her in person and not only was she incredibly rude, also trying to lie about the phone calls I had with her during the day, where she was the most aggressive woman I’ve ever had on the phone. Unfortunately for her, my friend was actually next to me the whole time during the calls so she knew damn well this woman was lying. She also refused to refund us despite us showing up with the food clearly untouched, with the peanuts inside- proof of her actions. Overall it’s the most unprofessional restaurant I’ve ever had to deal with and on top of it all the other dishes (that were cross contaminated) literally tasted horrible. Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Dietary restrictions: Doesn’t understand the concept of allergies so I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you want any restrictions you may have to be completely disregarded.
