Perfect family-friendly “home-office” lake, if you can brave the cashier queue I love using Baggersee Kriessern as a summer co-working spot: there’s plenty of quiet lawn for a laptop, strong mobile signal, and—crucially—enough play areas, rafts and games to keep kids of every age happily occupied while you answer emails. The kiosk’s menu is reasonably priced (think CHF 8–15 for most items) and tastes better than the usual swim-park fare, so lunch doesn’t feel like a sacrifice. The only real downside is the bottleneck at the restaurant cashier; on hot weekends you can wait 20 minutes or more to pay. Still, for a beautiful setup, mountain views and true work-with-kids convenience, Baggersee tops the list and gets 5 stars.
