Torta buona, ma, per me, veramente troppaā¦ diventa nauseante. Servizio impeccabile e ambiente stupendo, ma nel momento in cui ho chiesto una cioccolata calda mi ĆØ stato portato un bicchiere di latte caldo con un poā di nutella ai bordi, pagato 5.80ā¬ al bicchiere. Ci siamo fermati per provare il loro dolce tipico, la kremsnite. Veramente tanto buono. Inoltre, mangiare il dolce con vista lago ĆØ stato un momento magico! Personale molto gentile e disponibile, tempi di attesa brevissimi. Abbiamo preso due fette di kremsnite per quattro persone, per un totale di circa 13ā¬. Perched right by the postcard-perfect shores of Lake Bled, Kavarna Park delivers a dining experience thatās equal parts indulgence and scenery. We came for the famed kremÅ”nita, and it didnāt disappoint. The custard was rich yet light, with a subtle citrus note that lifted the whole dessert. The flaky layers were delicate, though I have to admit I slightly preferred the version I tried earlier in Zagreb. Still, this one holds its own as a must-try local classic. The surprise star, however, was the beef burger. Perfectly juicy and tender, paired with chips cooked to golden perfection. What really stood out was the sauces. The tomato sauce tasted remarkably fresh and balanced, not overly sweet like what weāre used to back home in Australia. The mustard and tartar sauces were equally well-crafted, each adding its own layer of flavour without overpowering the dish. Service, unfortunately, was a bit of a mixed bag. On a hot day, many patrons were hoping for indoor or shaded seating, but not everyone received the warmest response. One of our fellow Aussies even decided to take their business elsewhere, which says a lot. That said, the view is the ultimate trump card. Sitting there, soaking in the panoramic beauty of Lake Bled, transforms the meal into something memorable. It marked a special highlight of our first day in Slovenia. Despite the uneven service, Iād still highly recommend Kavarna Park. The food and the view more than make up for whatās lacking, making it a spot worth experiencing at least once.
