Big fan of the flat white, and the hopfli. The setting is lovely, especially in spring when the magnolia is in bloom. I love sitting in the shade of the church and enjoying my coffee. A relaxed vibe, people cycle over, bring their kids and their dogs. I used to live nearby and go almost every day, and now that I live further away I still make sure to visit a couple of times a week.
The bar is indeed beautiful, and the seating is romantic and pleasant. However, the quality of drinks, aperitivo cocktails (if one can even call them that) is very disappointing. Simply hire a person who can prepare drinks or supervise from time to time. Pastries tasted a bit stale, definitely not fresh, but maybe because it was the end of the day. Coffee might be good. Perhaps try that, but definitely don't come for aperitivo.
