We had a nice dinner there with cheese fondue for some and Chinese fondue for others. The decor is very nice, service was very good. That said only 3 stars for a variety of reasons: - the kirsch was served separately from the cheese fondue in an individual mini bottle instead of being in the fondue itself - while somewhat rare, this is fine (has benefits and drawbacks), but we were surprised when we discovered that it was charged separately a whole 16CHF on top of the 32CHF fondue when we received the bill. Luckily, because most of us wanted little or no kirsch, we only opened and shared one such bottle (thinking we were nice to the restaurant not to open all bottles) - but if we each had been charged 16CHF for having taken a sip of kirsch, we would have been pretty annoyed. It just seems dishonest that there is absolutely no mention of this on the menu and/or by the waiter. A fondue normally comes with kirsch included and we expected the price to be inclusive - the fondue itself (moitie-moitie) was ok but not great, taste and texture wise - this was a let down vs. what we expected from a hotel that features a separate Michelin star restaurant - maybe this is due to using local cheeses, but if that's the case, I'd rather have great cheeses than local cheeses - we had the brownies for dessert and they were also a big let down: bland taste far from what you can expect from a brownie, super small portion, and very expensive (26CHF). - I happened to have done my research and figured out that this place was still being used for making cheese in the huge cauldron present in the room once in a while, but there was no mention of this at all (except if you read the long text on the menu, which typically nobody does) - it's such a nice thing that I would have wanted the waiter to bring it up - missed opportunity to make the experience a little more special for those who don't know
